Thanks for visiting the website of Okasee Records Artist Michael Jeans And The Eagle River Band. The album Leather And Feathers is a collection of Michaels original songs addressing the history and contemporary life of the American Indian. Officially re-released December 22, 2007. Clips of songs from "Leather And Feathers" plus others can be heard on the "Music" page.

Michael was nominated for Songwriter of the Year 2008 by the Native American Music Awards Association.

Michael recently signed a contract with Medicine Bow Films giving them permission to use the song "So You Wannabe An Indian".

The movie "Cangleska Wakan" (Sacred Hoop) will be released in 2009 for world wide distribution.
